This is The Provoker blogging and provoking live from Staffordshire's Moddershall Oak Country Spa, where I decided to seek sanctuary here (avoiding the Olympic crowds) and melt away any residual stress induced by previous demanding projects. I'm kinda having an Elizabeth Gilbert "Eat, Pray, Love" moment here where I'm relishing in dolce far niente aka. the art of doing nothing. The only things scheduled are my treatment appointments which includes a chocolate pamper therapy (yes I literally got lathered up with pure cocoa oil essence, just like a usually Friday night minus the whip-cream, very fifty shades...), oil-wrap aqua float, and relaxing deep tissue bamboo massage which happens to be the only treatment that made me break character and bust out with sporadic giggles (my thighs are a ticklish region). The days here are mostly spent watching hot Olympians compete in skimpy swimwear and lounging around in areas actually labeled as "Relaxation Room". Being in the English country side, secluded from all the hustle and bustle really calms me, but this is only because they have wifi, if not I'd gone mad.
robe DAMIR DOMA, sunglasses CÉLINE, top SONGZIO HOMME, shorts H&M, necklaces LANVIN, ring Yves Saint Laurent, sandals HANES

Wish I were there! The day I hand in my thesis I'm booking myself into a spa somewhere preferably warm. I may even go internet free for a week! I think my body deserves it...
ReplyDeleteP.S. AWESOME Lanvin necklace! Loving the horn.

aww that really sucks, esp knowing how many great pair of sunnies you own, don't worry I'm sure the sky would clear up some time, or I'd still wear sunglasses as during the day even with a bit of rain as there is still UV in the light so protect your fashionable eyes!
