Ok, here goes round two. I've eased up on the caffeine intake and gotten more adapt at style stalking. There was a particular hour right before the John Rocha show where traipsing around Somerset House in otherwise known as painfully heightened footwear really paid off. In that mere hour, I spotted Scott Schuman and Phil Oh in their "natural habitat", and got a chance to shoot Tommy Ton for a change, along with Papa and daughter Rocha dashing in-and-out of backstage for air (good sports for letting me shoot them). I can't stress the importance of investing in a semi or professional lens. Yes, yes, I know it's tough thinking you could've spent that wad of cash on a new bi-textural (like bisexuals but with texture, duh) J.W. Anderson perforated shirt dress or a Kenzo brocade coat, but seriously you won't regret it. You of all people should appreciate the wondrous nature of quality photos. While people lust over Louboutin's red sole, I for one can't wait to upgrade my lens with a red ring.

ReplyDeleteNot at all, but except drinking or eating but then again that's what drinking straws were invented for and as for eating, it was fashion week, eating was frowned upon. Just kidding.... kinda.

lovin' your Proenza...
ReplyDeleteLOL at "bisexuals but with texture" as if most bisexuals are texture-less: perhaps some are not really choosy but I think that is the greatest myths: most bisexuals I know are incredibly choosy of their types, either really feminine women and really masuline men, or all androgyne types, or some are into tall people (whatever the sex is) or sometimes into dominance or submissive types ...some are just into skinny bodies and beautiful faces. I could go on...I'm basically straight in Holland, btw, but I like Spanish people, does that make me a Bi-spanish-emotional person (because I don't do much sex at all, making me bi-emotional in Spain?)
No dear, liking a specific type mostly for that reason is considered a fetish, so you have a fetish towards Spanish people, or just emotionally attached to those of Spanish descent. I've come to realized that everyone has sex to satisfy their fetish, if someone doesn't like you, it doesn't necessarily mean you're not sexy, you're just not their 'type'.

Thanks Renata, I'm glad you appreciate my mixed prints, I know how it feels to see people take risks with their clothes, makes me happy too, shows me that person is confident and daring.
