I am consciously ashamed to admit that under gloomy suicidal climates, I find solace in curling up in my bathrobe next to wood scented candles, put on a pot of fresh mint tea and dig into a proper book, is it not capital "C" cliché? I never pegged myself for being much of a bookworm, so rather than delving into my Albert Camus novel, the next best thing would be to open up Olympia Le-Tan's embroidered book-clutches (apparently handmade with love in France). Much like meticulously written literary pieces, seeing these get me all emotional and have me reaching for the soon-to-be-empty tissue dispenser. Folks, this is proper fashion escapism. Grabbing onto a clutch that masquerades around as airplane reading material can prove to be quite the provocative accessory. Just be sure not to make the foolish mistake of putting an actual book in these, now that just wholly defeats the purpose. Then again, putting a Charlotte's Web into a Charlotte's Web book-clutch falls somewhere along the lines of inception, actually, make that inWEBtion.
