There was a definite street style consensus amongst all if not most LFW attendees. It was minimal, edited, and above all tasteful. Perhaps it were the heaps of critiques on style "peacocking" (as Suzy Menkes eloquently put it) that triggered a need to edit, but indeed the effort everyone had in toning down their gaudiness this season was much appreciated. To list some of the best fash-y moments, I'd have to start off with when P'Trique from The Platform complimented my outfit outside Unique, and when I bumped into the lovely Ivania from Love Aesthetics who generously led us to meet Nick Knight and his wife at his Belgravia show studio (I've probably met my starstruck quota at this point), backstage at Huishan Zhang, after party shenanigans, and of course being humbly recognized as The Provoker. Though I had my fair share of unexpected obstacles during the week like having my memory card malfunction midday, commuting difficulties, and like everyone having their wifi never cooperating; I am still so grateful for the five days of sunny weather, never once falling face flat in my platform shoes *knock on wood*, and for the many kindnesses shown my way from those in the industry.
