Voilà, a title so suited for the post, it seemed almost tailor made for it. It doesn't fit like a glove, it fits like couture. This mint puffer jacket is probably the best bargain in clothing I've ever received. Purchased a year ago, right when pastels were just starting to be on trend (has it been that long?), a 'hint of mint' caught my eye, packed tightly on an abandoned rail in an East London vintage store. Promptly jabbing my hands around the piece sourcing for a price tag, only to be astounded by its further reduction from a fiver to three quid. The cynic within me arrogantly jumped to the conclusion that it must be torn, damaged or at least losing a button (oh yes, my cynic is very much alive and well within me). Au contraire! The jacket seemed brand new. Not only did it fit me perfectly, the lining was completely intact, pockets had no holes within, was free of even the faintest stain. Needless-to-say, I had to have it. Even if I weren't going to wear it that often, how could I resist not making the pun: "I bought this jacket in 'mint' condition."
