'Tis not a rhetorical question of sorts, but am I pushing it too far as a guy wearing dotted sheer socks with chunky-heeled sandals? Wait, scratch that.. Am I pushing it too far as a guy wearing skorts masquerading around as a ruffled skirt? In situations like these, I've become quite adept to the 'just-wear-it-and-don't-give-two-fucks' theory. Yes, it's me turning up the provocation in my ongoing attempt to prove something to myself along with a selective interested few that women's wear on men can be, for lack of a better word, nice. As glad as I am that the realms of menswear seems to be expanding by embracing women's wear elements (in case you hadn't notice, that's pretty much what this site's all about, my raison d'etre if you may..); but still it's moving along way too slowly, so I'm just going to go ahead and do a taste-test on ruffles. If it's good enough for J.W. Anderson to feature his men in slick-back dos and wool tube tops with ruffle shorts for Fall/Winter, then it's good enough pour moi.
