Browsing my humble little collection of multi-textural handbags (read: The Blue Box, New Year New Baby, Canvas Python), I've reached a fun-sized epiphany that by keenly opting for the quirky color/texture ways when purchasing such pieces, it sort of renders accessorizing in other areas obsolete; which let's face it, makes leaving the house on time a hell of a lot easier. But for my lesser ostentatious bags, the ones born with merely one texture or color, they might need a bit more of errr.. jazzing up, or oomph, or you know... just that somethin' somethin'. Which is where I candidly introduce my new furry bag companion, Johann (I have an urge to name things with a face, and at times known to even add a detailed back story). So, with an expression full of anger, and hair full of static, he's the perfect 'bag bud' or 'purse pal' to adorn yours looks with; and an easy conversation piece during social events just before I knock back a couple of personality drinks and get uncontrollably chatty. I deduce Delfina Delettrez Fendi (the girl behind these little monsters) might have struck that perfect chord on creative and commercial cause these whimsical babies sold out once they hit stores; but don't fret, they'd be restocked in a month's time, plus for SS14, these monsters will return bigger, bolder, and with furrier mink eyebrows that would give Cara Delevingne's bushy ones a run for their money!
