It's that CHIC time of year again where all the fashy-folks flock their couture feathers together towards Pa-reee. I've been fortunate enough to catch some decent shows though arriving just in the middle of PFW, so if you've been following my Instagram feeds, you'd have surely gotten to see the insider-'low fat gluten free'-scoop a la Paris. Hmm... Come to think of it, it's tricky to meticulously regurgitate my experience in a consolidated short paragraph, and as much as I try to provide some sort of clichéd blogger photo diary, I guess this would have to do, so you're gonna take it and you're gonna like it! #EmptyThreat. Who could forget Acne's Swedish opera acoustic performance that gave birth to awkward giggles amongst the room, or Jean-Paul Gaultier's Dancing with The Stars themed performance (kudos for fun and an Amy Winehouse casting) at Paradis Latin, and of course Karl Lagerfeld's painter-themed runway urging me to pre-order a Chanel quilted leather canvas case even though I haven't painted in years; perhaps Karl was the catalyst to jumpstart a new passion, just like he did back in 2008 when he showed Chanel tennis racquets, *book my a court down at the club Sebastian!*. While in between shows, it was either starvation central or madly scoffing down foie gras and escargots like there's no tomorrow, but hey, 'when in FRONCE, do as the FRENCH do' - either eat well or don't eat.
